Seems that every other site on the Internet is announcing multiple new Samyang lenses today. As far as I can see, the only real new lens is the 12mm f/2, which will be available for virtually all the mirrorless mounts. Everything else that’s getting mentioned is either a video variation or the ship announcement of previously announced lenses.
So I’ve added the 12mm f/2 to the lens database. Note that Samyang lenses can appear under a number of different brand names, including Rokinon here in the US.
In general, I’ve found the Samyang lenses to be very good optically and excellent bargains. Just remember that they’re manual focus lenses, not autofocus.
