Fujifilm updated their lens roadmap today, adding a 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS lens with XC designation to the late 2013 product plans. XC refers to lenses that are more compact and casual, and lower cost as opposed to the XF designated optics.
I've updated the road map on the Fujifilm Lens Database page on this site to reflect the addition.
