The A7r Mark III is Sony’s third generation of their high-pixel count mirrorless body. In April 2021 Sony introduced an “a” version of this model with higher rear LCD resolution.

  • Focus: 399-point phase detect and 425 contrast detect points (-3EV to EV20 sensitivity), single point, zone, flexible spot, multi-area, face detect, tracking, manual focus override, focus joystick
  • Display: 2.95” 1.44m dot tilting touch LCD (“a” model uses 2.4m dot LCD)
  • Viewfinder: built-in 3.69m dot OLED EVF with 0.78x magnification -4 to +3m diopter, 60/120 Hz
  • Flash: hot shoe, 1/250 flash sync, red-eye reduction, slow sync, rear sync
  • Remote: optional infrared
