Fujifilm Firmware Fixed Again

(news & commentary)

Fujifilm has released version 3.01 of the X-Pro1 firmware to fix the problem with videos not recording correctly.

There's only one fix listed in the firmware change, but I'm hearing of other possible issues from users, particularly with the 18-55mm lens, both in the X-E1 and X-Pro1 updates. The speed at which the update to the update came coupled with the fact that the problem should have been caught in the first place doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in how well Fujifilm is testing and QA-ing these releases, either.
