Firmware Update for GH2

Panasonic preannounced a firmware update for the GH2. The actual update should be available in December, and will contain the following: a new video mode with 24Mbps support; operation with the ne new X power zoom lenses; enlargement of the AF area setting; faster auto bracketing sequences; slightly better buffer usage; EX. TELE CONV. (their term, not the one anyone who writes English would use ;~) can be used in stills as well as video; more accurate flash results; better video autofocus; improved noise reduction; plus a few other minor things. All in all, this is a relatively major update and one that every GH2 user should look at closely. Those of you with hacked GH2s need to be more careful about firmware updates, as the hacks are firmware dependent.
