Sony NEX 5N

The NEX-5N was was a modest update to Sony's mid-level mirrorless camera, mostly upgrading the 16mp sensor, but also adding faster shooting fps, an optional EVF, a touchscreen, and some other modest changes.

Thom's Comment: While a few have written about how the sensor in this revision is better, I really don't see enough difference to get excited about. The NEX-5 was perfectly good to start with, and the NEX-5N sensor change just nudges that a bit further on the good scale, perhaps a bit more for the video user than the still user. The real interest here is the new optional EVF, which gives you the same viewfinder as the more expensive NEX-7, though as an ugly clip-on.
