Note: lack of effective UV/IR suppression on the M8 means that you normally have to use lens filters on this camera to get accurate color.
M8.2 differs with minor updates to shutter (quieter, but loses 1/8000), sapphire glass over LCD, and the rangefinder is optimized to focus at 2m, no 0.7m. Logo is black instead of red.
