The E-PL3 is the third generation of what is now the mid-line Pen series (sometimes referred to as Pen Lite by Olympus).

Note: A solidly capable and relatively compact body. You can often find this camera at steep discounts, making it a better option than picking pup one of the higher-end (and often almost as large) small sensor compacts.
