This small, glassless adapter allows you to mount F-mount lenses (SLR and DSLR type lenses) on your Nikon 1 camera. Note that such lenses will operate with a 2.7x change in angle of view due to the smaller sensor size of the Nikon 1 cameras (see the angle of view table here). The adapter has a small tripod mount foot on it for better balance with the larger F-mount lenses. The adapter fully supports AF-I and AF-S lenses, and it supports VR on those lenses if the lens has it.
